Kabali da

Three words

Kabali da!

Kabali is the Tanglish spelling for Kapali a.k.a Kapaleeshwaran a.k.a God Siva. It is like a planned name for the movie for Rajni. The discovery says that many Rajni movie have the names of God Siva. Kapalam means head. What does Kabali mean?

There have been plenty of jokes through ICU and Troll Malayalam saying. Kali + Bahubali = Kabali . The film Kabali failed to overtake Bahubali in its first day collection. There are always exceptions. And even as fans, me or you do not get paid a paisa for praising, promoting or seeing the movie. It is all about being in the general social flow with a level of happiness, a bit high.

Neruppu da!

Neruppu is again interpreted as a spark that can ignite, a seed of fire and many a time fire itself.

Magizhchi! (no da)

My understanding of the term was rebuilt after watching this movie. Being a speaker of a mix of languages, with interest in some many languages my mind works to try and figure out  a meaning for a word without referring to the dictionary. The meaning for the word ‘Magizhchi’ was understood as something that keeps you engaged on which you find engagement. Mostly, some movies or sports to which one is glued is a matter of Magizhchi. The film rebuilt the definition to include happiness and joy in the process of engaged mesmerism.

The trailer of this film is a great work. It shows simple, neat , budget, rajni for the masses with definitely some transitional narration of new and old days of the main character

It was sure as the teaser was released that the film is going to make tonnes of profit, since the expenses are less. I did not know why there is no entertainment tax on the film. Some light on that is here.

The power of fans is evident in the success of the film, the economical success. As a movie the film does justice to the story. But I had my expectations which were not met. I especially did not like the audio only (climax?) at the end leaving a shot of surprise and open guesses. Also, gunshots in this film are to the most part real and not super extra ordinary. There is not much of a dance or song as in proper song. Unlike the film Madras  which gave an anthem to Chennai. Even the song Neruppu da fails to be an anthem or a motivational jig.But that is expected due to the absence of superstar A.R.Rahman as composer. This is not a big budget movie if you remove Thalaivar.

What we look forward to in the movie is nothing but Thalaiva. He rocks. He is Classy. He steals each frame, and the frame wants to focus on him. There is more of film in Rajni than Rajni in the film. You will be eager to watch his steps, what dialog comes next, what heroism is forthcoming and to what extent the reality will be disoriented. Rajni takes up the gun. But when he literally does, it is not the villain of Enthiran. When they show romance, it is not the romantic hero of Sivaji. It is unique, in itself it is Kabali da!

The film gives an idea that the story will be about a sweet and pleasant ( and of course easy) revenge for the situation of the hero. Typical Rajni film where he suffered to rise and act the hero. But the film is based on the soil and ground that the only issue remains on unexplained gang activities and what a truthful underground gang in Malaysia would do. It is not clear from the movie. But it is ok.

We do not expect detailed explanation on many things. Even if we are not the true fan to go for first day first show, nor would we waste food and resources on idolizing the superstar, nor would we give ourself to the crazy frenzy, but we would like to be in vogue, in current trends, to know what it is like to be, and be faithful netizens with supportive and meaningless tweets and posts and reviews and shout outs of Neruppu da. It may not be much. This is definite advertisement. It is more about knowing living and being the social update such as Pokemon and likewise.

Kabali as a movie helps reveal the little explored acting side ( than super-herosim) of Rajni. This may be a trendsetter and wake up call for hundred other directors including those of Salman Khan ( who shot Ek Tha Tiger which shames Spiderman’s Train stopping scene, all of which will give a salute to Chiranjeevi’s train stopping scene). It is not that super heroism did not begin with Rajni. Rajni just took it to break previous records. I would say it is good that Rajni was told to take off his cooling glasses and give a real expression which his face really does. With the heroine doing good acting, probably acting took the main stage alongwith the story in this film. There are some memorable scenes and it does not include the Rajni walk, Rajni gunshots or Rajni fights. This is great to be pulled off in this way and still get a great success story. I expected a more momentous and exciting journey from Malaysia to India. I expected more fight and more dialogue. Because on any day we can have more of Rajni.

What does it take to create overnight success like that of Kabali. Learn from what John Hanke the creator of Pokemon Go said: 20 years. 20 years back yes Arunachalam was released. Imagine how many people have had their food for their toil by working in this Rajni film. And then how many Tamils of Malaysia would be happy to have a Malaysian Tamil film. And how many Tamils will be happy about an International Tamil Film and How many Indians would be happy about an old man entertaining the whole of the world ?That exactly is the redefinition of super heroism.

Jawan of Vellimala

"Jawan of Vellimala" was an excellent movie, I saw very recently. I was sceptical about watching the movie after seeing the trailer. Nowadays, the rumour is that Mammootty movies are supposed to be unimpressive, banal and "flop" movies.

I watched the movie anyways.

The story is centred around the military man [jawan], dramatised by Mammootty, whose father had died in a strike in the making of the dam. The jawan has a problem. The whole village criticises him for his cowardice, as he is famous for being the only man who could see ghosts in the Vellimala dam. The sight of the Vellimala dam captured in the camera is a brilliant watch. The apparitions that the jawan sees in the terrific background of the dam at night is superb. Somehow wondering whether the film would be a horror, supernatural or psychic thriller.

The interesting part of the movie is the bringing up of the theme of supernatural ghosts that only the retired jawan sees. It is revealed to the audience that the problem is that of eyesight, an optical nerve damage that the jawan gets during one of his dangerous military missions.

The story turns smooth curve as the plot is elaborated with the engineer of the dam , played by Srinivasan, and the young business man,Asif. There are the negative characters , the politicians, the senior engineer, the home minister and sidekicks who go about illegal sand mining. They also hide the crack in the tunnel of dam, that becomes a crucial life threatening for the dam as well as the people of Vellimala. The plot is unveiled slowly through the adventures of Koshi(Asif) and self assigned missions of the jawan. Soon the good and bad fight each other through cunning and physical encounters.

The Engineer who wants to release the problems to public, the heroine who helped and worked with him, Koshi and jawan all wish for justice to prevail. The jawan gets the appreciation of Engineer whom he saves from some attackers. Getting the appreciation as a jawan , for the first time from the villager makes him emotional. The engineer is kidnapped. Koshi is into hiding and meets jawan and tells about his suicidal , drug-driven, fall off the dam, his findings of the sand mining, finding of the kingpin and locations. He finds the hideout where the Engineer is hidden. He enlightens the details to Jawan. And the swift action begin.

Jawan meanwhile learns that the heroine’s father was made in bad physical state to get her co-operation to all the illegal activities of the villains.

While the righteous Engineer’s daughter and Koshi, duo, go into hiding and let themselves get captured by the villains to get to their new secret location. This is tracked by Jawan, who swiftly prompts to action by acting as an innocent singer for the Chief Engineer. They get to the roots of it.

The duo who run to meet the home minister, who is MLA from the same place , to address their grievance, get chased by the goons of villains. The land with the police who is also in the negative lot. Only the jawan knew about the complete list of negative guys. He rescues them.

The Engineer arranges for press meet and releases the video tape showing the cracks on the dam. He also shares extend of damages caused by villainy who did an improper contract, that led to the crack and that in effect did not let the dam to be functioned at full flow through the tunnel. The minister wanted to close down the dam as the only way to save his face. But the Engineer’s press meet collapses all these plans.

The jawan, introduced as a person with excellent bike stunt skills, gets to show his final stunt and kills a good part of villains in a chase and hits them with a terrific bike jump.

He is taken to hospital where he meets his end.

The Colonel whom jawan used to eloquently tell about lands in the village, talks about the greatness of the jawan and the film ends in a positive not minus the man Hero.

It is a good movie. With all the goodness of humanity preserved. No lazy music. And clear picture without heroism leave alone super-heroism.

Mullamottum Munthiricharum (Malayalam: മുല്ലമൊട്ടും മുന്തിരിച്ചാറും)

Mullamottum Munthiricharum (Malayalam: മുല്ലമൊട്ടും മുന്തിരിച്ചാറും) is a 2012 Malayalam film directed by Aneesh Anwar, starring Indrajith, Meghana and Ananya in lead roles.

The film is about the hero , Indrajith, who does all the petty jobs of killing snakes, being a fake witness at court, and similar stuff. The full time drunk hero keeps moving the story till the priest of the church stops him to advice and chat with him. The priest is the only person the hero would listen to.

At the beginning we judge the drunk role of Indrajith and compare it with Mohanlal and Prithviraj while finally Indrajith pulls it off as his own.The priest played by Thilakan a.k.a “Vazhakula Achan” (Banana bunch Father) adds humour and seriousness to the story.

Meanwhile a accident happens to a victim of the hero’s chase – job and the victim ends up in hospital. Her daughter, Ranimol (Ananya) is all ready for cold  revenge. With the priest’s help she gets an agreement by which the hero has to pay for all expenses of the family, that is Ranimol and her father.

The inebriate hero has friends at the toddy shop and the semi-villain played by Ashokan getting some jobs done by the hero.

One such job was to evacuate a family of 2 women and an old man because they failed to pay the rent. He locks their rented house and they are stranded outside. The priest brings them to occupy the hero’s ancestral home. The hero gets to stay outside his own home and get food and rent in return. The burden of two families  seem to show their affect on the hero.

One day the villain comes up with his sidekick played by Tini-tom and play dirty with Suchithra (Meghana) the unmarried woman of the house. The hero being unconscious doesn’t know about this. Nothing happens and the villain return unsuccessful , pulled away by his sidekick.

Now the whole village turns against the hero. The priest returns the land documents that the hero’s father had given to him and walks off.

Now the hero goes into apology mode. Clears the problem he had created with the family living on rent. He even protects them from Suchitra’s sister’s husband who turns out be villainous.

The priest fixes marriage of hero with Ranimol. Suchitra is heartbroken.

A sudden twist happens while Ranimol’s father is found dead. The whole village now denounces him. The film becomes more interesting with such twists in between keeping the viewer glued.

The climax should be seen.

The whole story resembles the background portrayed in typical Vaikom Muhammad Basheer Novels and the scenaries of the village are depicted in all its marvel. This movie though a little bit slow is a pleasure to watch and spend some time.

Three mistakes of my life; Kaipoche;

This must be a first book of its kind , blending cricket and radicalism with love story and Gujarat! Why Gujarat?

“Kaipoche”, the movie  is an  adaptation of the novel “Three mistakes of my life” written by Chetan Bhagat. The book was exceptionally boring to read. And I was reading Five point someone before this. May be it was the hangover of the first book that reflected on the reading in 3 mistakes. I had made a mistake reading that book. I should have seen the movie. But the movie was 2 year after I read the book, what to do?

The movie depicts the fiction in a better sense. The background of Gujarat is vivid with the camera and settings of each scene. The movie moves at a good pace with things happening at the typical speed of a Hindi movie with all the dullness with it. The Gujarati between the dialogues makes sense and adds to increase the sense of background to the story.

The story is a narration by the hero who has two friends. One goes to politics while the other is a hard-core cricketer. The religions differ. The story takes us through the spirit of starting something on our own. The typical Gujju attitude. The business of cricket flourishes alongside tuition taken by the narrator. Ishan is a cricket maniac and is all nuts about cricket. He gets into a relationship with the Crick-nut’s sister. They have a long affair. The Crick-nut doesn’t know all this till a crucial moment.

There is an uproar among the caste Hindu politician who believe that a  train carrying pilgrims was set to fire by Muslims. Now the friends are in the house of a protector of Muslim fraternity, who was also the father of Akbar who is a good batsman (coached by Mr.Crick-nut). The 3rd friend is with his Mama in the communal-political riot led by none other than his Mama. His Mamaji gets killed. He becomes blind with mad-revenge. He sees his friends inside, but leaves them alone. They try to persuade him from taking revenge for his Mamaji’s death, he doesn’t listen. A concerned lover the girl calls up the hero and the mobile happens to be with Ishan (Mr Crick -nut , the brother) . He becomes mad at  the hero. And then suddenly there is footsteps from above where they have hidden Akbar and his father. All run hither-thither. The 3rd friend has a pistol at hand to shoot them. And shoots. Ishaan gets the bullet while he tries to cover others.

Years pass. The hero and the girl marry and have a kid named after Ishan. The 3rd friend is forgiven in a cricket match were Akbar opens the batting.

The movie is far better than the writing. So I suggest to read the book and then watch the movie to appreciate it.

The story is good and a good pass-time.

The Pursuit of Happyness

The Pursuit of Happyness was a movie with Will Smith and his son playing father and son duo. The team fills the movie almost entirely. The father who wishes good of his son, the mother who drops the family and leaves them, because of her impatience and intolerance. The father takes up a fancy to solve Rubik’s cube. This comes handy when he wishes to push himself and take up an internship in a competitive management firm.

He wanted to be happy , and tried to be so though he was selling some medical device to doctors. His sales doesn’t go well and he goes through hardships along with his son. His son understands most part of it, and gets his doubt cleared on why his mother went away.

While accumulating credits and parking tickets, he goes on to live in all odd places including a washroom. Finally he impresses one of the executives with to land up in an interview for the internship. He gets unpaid internship in a very competitive environment. He was bullied silently by a higher-up, which the hero manges without emotions getting on his nerves. He stays afloat by trying to sell some machines that he had, while he had collect his son and get to the charity home by perfect time to get a room allotted.

His son tries his hands on basketball and then suddenly the father says that he is not good at it, and should not be spending too much time on such a wasteful thing. The hero then re-positions his stance , corrects himself and tells his child that “No matter what people say, I  you want to do something, you can do it”.

That spirit runs the movie and after all the hardships and his networking and good communication skills he ends up getting the job. Only one successful person from internship was going to land up in the job. He is all tears and happy when he hears that he is the one selected. He holds his head up and walks on the street. Like the people who were happy after work always, who had inspired him to be happy, he had joined the crowd of happy people, finally.

This story is a “True story”. Definitely a motivational and inspirational one.

Enthiran The movie analysis and suggestions for improvement.

Warning:

Please watch the movie and then go through the suggestions. Myself saw the movie more than 3 times. The following may not interest you unless you watch the movie.

The Title

The Name “Enthiran”, “Robot”  in other languages, wasput probably because in Tamil Nadu there will be some amount of tax reduction if the name is in Tamil. So, in other places the name is “The Robot”. In Malayalam the name could be read as “Yanthiran” , derived from Yanthram meaning machine or mechanism. Some times the advertisements spelt it in the Tamil way of pronouncing which doesn’t give a clue to the meaning. Thanks to the popular format of sub-Titling in English we know what the intention was.

Primary  flaws in the film

The film lacked novelty to the English film viewers who have already gone through the nuances of the concept of Humanoid robot.  A weak script illustrates only weak characters .

1)                 The scene 1 : A feeling of a lab depicted cannot be related to anywhere in India. A robot brings flowers from Heroine and reads the handwriting in the gift. Impossible. OK . They started off with the impossibilities so that viewers do not become too sceptical and start asking questions of logic in the film beyond imagination. But then the Robots in the lab understand the local language in which the lab assistants speak. Good voice recognition abilities!

2)                 The scientist says that he has worked on the project for ten years ( that is said later) why would he keep skype account active while doing serious research in the computer. He doesn’t mind the heroine who tries to contact him via skype . So what was the purpose of skype there?

Suggestion: Show inbox full of her messages.

3)                 The Heroine with a name “ Sana” cannot be associated easily. May be it was put to get it in lyrics of the songs they had imagined.

4)                 Shankar doesn’t notice that the spelling of  “Neural Scheme” on the monitor is wrong . It is wrongly spelt as “Nueral Scheme”.

5)                 Not too funny scene by Santhanam plays spoilsport. No proper explanation is given for the irresponsible behaviour of  the lab assistants.

6)                 Why does the robot say in the first song that its language is Tamil? Parochialism!?

7)                 Rajni is ridiculed by the scientist who goes to Rajnikanth’s trademark antic with cooling glass/ sunglass.

8)                 The Robot learns even Bharthanatyam then why doesn’t he know who chellaatha is?!

9)                 Most of  the TV viewers have seen “The small wonder” serial , that was telecast in star plus, where a robot does the households, acts human, and it goes to extreme that it can eat and go to toilet. TV viewers know that the robot understand things as it is and when said “give me a hand” it removes the hand. So there is nothing new when the scientist’s mother asks the Robot  to “put the TV” it puts the TV down on floor.

10)            The Scientist should have known this and should have prevented it. That the scientist did not understand the level of comprehension of  the robot is depicted again and again in various scenes.

The robot fails to understand the “No parking” sign board a serious flaw in the making.  The other mistakes could somehow be forgiven. The scientist takes the robot to heavy traffic to test the driving skills of the robot. The Scientist’s character fails in all aspects.

The Robot flips through some magazines while others are scanned! Difference?!

11)            Why does the scientist count the number of kisses as two power nine. Zero logic!

12)            I would have preferred Vivek (Comedian  in Tamil movies) as Robot rather than Rajnikanth playing double role. The robot actually looks like Vivek .

13)            The first villain Denzongpa is an official and senior to the hero. There is no explanation whatsoever why he could not get his robot to understand and execute a simple command as “Walk” . How does he manage to get contract with terrorists. How then did he become an official in AIRD, what is the expansion of AIRD?! . How does he program the red chip and get it to work on the robot.

14)            ! The robot increases the loudness of the speakers it limit and breaks the system. Why would he do that when he knows that high volume sound could affect heart patients, even if it was for seconds.

15)            ! Trans-receiver?  Its transceiver or transmitter plus receiver there is nothing . Its supposed to be a high tech movie.

16)            -The Robot jumps up defying gravity from under the water. No explanation. The director takes care to explicitly show the magnetic stuff later in a fire escape scene.

17)            ! After much metal beating them the rowdy guys aren’t tired!

18)            – Why wouldn’t the robot get the power from the electric supply to fans inside the train or from the overhead cables?

19)            – Zeno’s paradox; why don’t they mention the name. Its supposed to be a high-tech film.

20)            ! Why would the girl in bath tub full of water worry about catching fire. Why would she call for help?!

21)            Suggestion: The scene where the robot gets hit by thunder should have been done on more plain field and the distance between the scientist and robot should have been farther.

22)            + The scene with Graphical mosquitoes was excellent. With good humour.

23)            Instead of graphical flowers forming inside, they could’ve begun with 0s and 1s making flower shapes. (Even Wall-E had a lover)

24)            Irumbile oru idhayam, the best song in the film. The best that A.R Rahman does that is with beats and Western style.

25)            Excellent scenary for the song Kilimanjaro. But Shankar does not consider showing Machu Pichhu rather he would show the dance and people. What a waste. The song is slow , probably to help Rajnikanth so that he can show some movements. The song  is best heard at 1.5 x original speed.

26)            !? Scientist doesn’t know e-waste management, also he doesn’t know how to properly dismantle the Robot and dispose it. He does not remove the program from the Robot, any reverse engineering could reveal the neural scheme which the scientist bravely defended.

27)            ? If the robots had IP then the Scientist could’ve hacked it down after finding the server (Any resemblance to Terminator had to be avoided, may be that is why they didn’t build on that concept.)

28)            ! Why should the Scientist himself go inside the Robot’s palace he must have had back up robots to run.

29)            Suggestions: The robot should believe itself to be god for making so many clones under him. The emotions that it feels itself lesser than the humans was not properly illustrated.

30)            Why didn’t the Robot  have back up non-conventional energy sources of wind and solar energy.

31)            To check whether the group was full robots The Robot just had to check the database and verify all the bots.

32)            The weakness of the robot , the concept of flashing lights was not mentioned with the AIRD or the military. The director seems lost in the Graphics.

33)            Brilliant graphics display. In sense overwhelming.

34)            But how many people understand what a computer worm is?

Some more suggestions: The first villain Denzongpa looks like Pervez Mushsharaff . the Character could have been more strong terrorist who searches for bright scientists and robots that can be used for mass destruction and chaos. So he gets into the AIRD with that motive while he is not actually a Robotics engineer. So why he could not make good robots could be explained. The Scientist’s assistants call on the AIRD chief for change of job. No convincing objective is given. It could be like this. One of the chaps who plays the role of the Hero’s assistant could be a brilliant programmer that he gets lured by the money offered or gets brainwashed by the Terrorist or gets threatened . So he re-engineers the dismantled robot for the terrorist and gets himself killed by the terrorist so that the secret remains secret. The Robot getting the new program knows how to regenerate his own type. It goes own to regenerate itself. It has god given emotions due to the thunder strike. It knows through its black box, which records data in the surroundings even when inoperational, has records of the programmer getting killed. The basic AI algorithm is monkey algorithm were the robot learns by imitation first and then improves the action in speed and accuracy. So the Robot kills the terrorist. The Robot becomes terrorist having seen killing, having the new program, having the learning program.

The Hero reverse engineers the code gets control. The Climax will be same. He runs through a series of patches to destroy the bad program. The Robot is dismantled into demagnetising environment so that it cannot rise up again. The Robot won’t tell the visiting school kid of 2030 that it started thinking. But it would be written on the board of description.

I wish to see Enthiran in R-D

We have seen 2 D and the upcoming of 3-D films. I would have preferred the Rajnikanth’s latest flick “Enthiran” to be released with the third dimension to the audience. But no it came in 2 D with very special special graphics team working behind the scenes. The team comprising the Music Maestro A.R Rahman, The master director Shankar, beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and an investment of hundreds of crore had shaken the vision of all.

While the Bollywood lovers will still boast of their Amitabh Bachchan- who got the national award recently , SRK (ShahRukhKhan)- whose skills have been honoured by the French Government and thousand others who may have dazzled the platform called Bollywood. While Salman Khan‘s Dabangg hopes to be the most popular , more than the 3 idiots, we see that those up there have a narrower vision and still narrower upper processing area. The Asia’s costliest film is not for them . It is for those who wish to be a superstar some day. The film – “Enthiran”s trailers were supposedly shown for tickets, said some newspapers. You can still see comments in youtube and north -driven phenomenas that they use the most usual swear words to illustrate their angst with words. The Indian film industry is not Bollywood alone. Some say that there is no acting in Rajnikanth’s (Super Star Rajnikanth or SSR for short) movies. I would tell those people that SSR fans don’t go to watch acting brilliance. If that were the case the Southern Film Industry ( I wouldn’t use the combination word “South Indian” as many would prefer because there is no South or North, only INDIA, even that name some find to be disputable) is not short of talent. Kamalahassan and Mammootty had the most number of awards in their bag till Amitabh B got the latest for the movie Paa, a laudable effort from him. Al Pacino has acted nothing new, the average movie seeing Indian can proudly say. Unlike the occasional ripples caused by the wanna be superstars and self-centred kings of the Bollywood the name of “Rajnikanth “ is etched in the annals of film industry for ever. For the first time we feel proud of someone who makes money through “acting” and is the second highest paid actor in the world, without having to act in English or any foreign tongue, and is the widely accepted and modest character in reality. May be the last one character is that which makes him a real super hero. While all the mega super duper hyper stars would take up advertisements and social causes to stay alive on the screen I have never seen an advertisement of SSR. The underlying ethics can indeed yield its fruits as the love and encouragement that the fans give him. He has the characters of godliness . He doesn’t desire anything, He doesn’t want to enter politics where he could have easily been the Chief minister of TN. He is said to have wondered at seeing the finished work of “Style song” ( where SSR is graphically made white for a song, Film: Sivaji- the Boss) while other actors aould have boasted about it. Another famous story is that a group of Japanese fans approached SSR’s home to see him. When he appeared in his normal manner, a dark man with little hair and would have easily passed as a farmer or beggar , they told him that they wanted to see the Superstar, he puts on the make up for them bless them with his starry appearance. Jackie Chan couldn’t have dreamt to be this, Jackie has to do all kind of circus, sometimes its called Kung-fu sometimes Karate who knows the difference. And after all the struggle and exertion Jackie has to crack some joke to entertain people. Of course everyone likes Jackie Chan in movie , in cartoon series (Called the Jackie Chan adventures), and in interviews, wikipedia says he is a singer also, Great. Can any aspiring actor imagine to be a hero without regular work-outs, diets, exercises, acting practice etc etc? That is why SSR is the star of stars

People, especially of the like of me want to be a superhero. The only way is to get the reflex neurons to simulate it . There is no choice of experiencing it in reality. While many English movie heros- Spiderman, Superman, He-man, and the umpteen other men and women seem too childish a fantasy. A hero of our days need some reality and an awesome lot of action and adventure and superhuman features packed into one.SSR provides just that. He is an idol which no one can claim or even try to be. Very few stars such as Vijay (ilaya thalapathy) in India has the producer’s grace of bestowing him with a cool non-dark clean and neat character, setting away the vices. His earlier movies had some shades of gray but with 50 films to his credit he is an angel of all sorts now.

The label of A.R Rahman musical can grab the attention of the onlookers and make them listen to the songs for minimum two times. A.R.Rahman’s music are notorious for the way the don’t cause any effect on the hearer till he listen it another time. While the yesteryear musics from him could make you drop everything and concentrate on music, the later trends show a clumsiness in music. The more he moved to putting music for the Hindi and other languages the sounds have become less charming. Anyone could say that the work that got him Oscar awards aren’t his best. What happened? No one knows. Save for the little spark which easily died in Raavanan song “Üsire Pogudhe¨ there has been nothing to boast of ARR in recent days, also the CWG( Commonwealth Games) theme song was not catchy. But the mind still carries the memories of the musical monuments that ARR has created and entertained the generations and still more generations to come, the inertia of which makes one sit up and listen to his new songs in search of treasure.

Enthiran trailer and the huge show of the audio and trailer releases has been mesmerising. In the trailer the main stuff that grabs attention are the SSP antics plus the excellent choreography and brilliance in the graphics. In the song starting “Kilimanjaro” were the dancers come with feathers and stuff they resemble the movements of birds before we realise that they have lesser clothes and you can seek entertainment in that aspect also! With all this in mind I would like to experience the Enthiran in the Rth Dimension (R-D), that is the Rajnikanth dimension. While the absence of comedians Vivek and Vadivelu has instilled a prejudice that the film may be a good sci-fi thriller with fewer or little to laugh about. The queues shown in TV, especially since the SUN network of televisions telecast program showing the response of the people after watching the movie around the world, little hope remains to watch it soon. But a day will come.

Hark lovers, you are worth a billion

Hark lovers, you are worth a billion

Love is to express, not to impress…………………………Who bothers!

wrote some folks on the wall of college.
There have been big ads by Tourism Ministry’s”the Incredible India” which shows some children who ask some couples to stop spoiling the monuments.

There have been songs and films which show all the crazy and weirdest things on earth accomplished by lovers. Some come up with another personality just for loving(The film Aparichit/Anniyan-multiple personality disorder). Some say they can study well thinking about their love. But the most incidents end up in tragedy.Or tragedies are more popular.

Recently in ‘The Hindu” there was a news titled “Fatal Kiss”.Two lovers (one was 30 yr old)were kissing each other in the middle of railway track. The train duly arrived, one died the other was critical.

People say that the greatest tomb ever, one of the wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal was symbol of love. But considering the human physical effort ,the value in terms of money and time ,which was spend on something like a tomb;says how foolish a king would be to spend the wealth of country on such a thing.

French president Sarkozy wanted to bring his lover to India! The Government officials were confused on how to receive that lady.Remember that the Government works on our money(payed as taxes)and the time spend for such things could be better utilised.

Sure, such incidents run some newspapers and other media. The whole film industry runs on love stories. The songs are designed especially for them. How much does a medium budget Hindi film cost?If that money spent on mere entertainment could be used for improvement of the Public infrastructure?!…Who cares..

On another field which gains from love and related subject is the telecommunication industry. The want people to use their system. One class of people who really don’t need some topic to talk upon are lovers. This class also happen to be the majority user of any form of communication, particularly the telecommunication. The easiest marketing strategy is to aim at this class. Some company offer something called”Honeymoon package”with cut down rates. The earth is rotating as well as revolving,so are words changing their meaning and life is changing.

Most billionaires have something to do with telecommunication, either running the telecommunication industry or providing the support, technology, research and development for it.Now how can anyone interested in business and marketing hate lovers?Even if some relations break the customs and cultural barriers?

u-know-wat …..Lovers,you are worth a billion.long live n cheers
